Safe Food and Nutrition
Adequate Nutrition is essential for human development. Malnutrition includes both undernutrition as well as overnutrition and refers to deficiencies, excesses or imbalances in the intake of energy, protein and/or other nutrients. As a knowledge-based organization, we advance safe food practices and nutritional awareness to enhance community health and well-being. We co-develop strategies for ensuring food safety and improving dietary quality by educating and sensitizing communities and organizations, promoting sustainable agricultural methods, creating viable supply chains for safe and nutritious products, and strengthening local food systems.
